The story behind it

I knew this one couldn't sound like the other two. Those songs were quiet on purpose, watching, confessing, standing. But you can't whisper "He is alive." When you really sit with it, sealed tomb, stone on the door, world gone cold, and He still had control - the only honest response is to glorify Him. So that's what this song is. It's not about the culture, It's not even about me. It's about Yeshua. Emmanuel. God in the flesh, who took my sin to the cross and didn't stay down.

The Truth buried something in me, the applause I wanted, the angles I hid behind. This song is what got raised in its place. Old me buried. New me raised. It's something that truly happened to me.

He said "I am the way, the truth, and the life." The Way showed me how He moved. The Truth showed me where I stand. The Life showed me why, because He is alive, I am too.
