The lyrics Written by K.B.W
Intro
Last time we broke the chains. Now? Now we build.
Verse 1
Woke up to the promise, see the sun on the grass.
Everything we dreamed, yeah we built it to last.
Used to worry 'bout the pieces, now I'm managing the plan.
From the desert in my mind to the steward of the land.
Keep the Bible on the dash and a spirit full of fire.
Taking everything they said I couldn't, aim it even higher.
Building on the strength of the man who led the way.
Adding to the prayers that he whispered every day.
Pre-Chorus
It's more than just a house, it's a kingdom in the making.
Every promise that was stolen, yeah it's finally for the taking.
Chorus
We didn't just survive the storm, we bought the land.
Built the house on the Rock, not the shifting sand.
I'm the blueprint, I'm the proof, by the Great I Am.
Legacy in the DNA, it's all part of the plan.
Yeah, it's all part of the plan!
Verse 2
I look at my daughters, that's the reason for the grind.
Making sure their future's brighter than the one I left behind.
No more shadows, no more burdens, no more living in the dark.
Just the light of the Spirit and the fire in my heart.
Got my queen by my side, yeah we're kneeling at the throne.
Turning every struggle into every cornerstone.
From the fire's heat to the peaceful breeze.
We're building up a legacy, walking in His peace.
Bridge
Brick by brick.
Soul by soul.
What the enemy tried to steal...
We taking back control!
TAKING BACK CONTROL!
Chorus
We didn't just survive the storm, we bought the land.
Built the house on the Rock, not the shifting sand.
I'm the blueprint, I'm the proof, by the Great I Am.
Legacy in the DNA, it's all part of the plan.
Outro
Foundation set.
The bloodline is holy...
And the stone is set.
It's a peace they can't take.
It's a life we won't break.
Generations in the light.
Yeah, it's finally right.
From the seeds to the tree.
Yeah, the bloodline is free.
Walking in the light now.
No more looking back now.
The cornerstone is set.
The promise has been met.
